ZX8 8 Zone Expansion Module

A hardware board designed to scale your Paradox security system. It acts as an interface between your main Paradox control panel (such as the Digiplex EVO series) and hardwired detection devices (door sensors, motion detectors, and smoke alarms).

KEY FEATURES & SPECIFICATIONS:

• Zone Expansion: Instantly adds 8 hardwired zone inputs to your main alarm panel.
• System Compatibility: Works seamlessly with the Paradox Digiplex EVO series (e.g., EVO192), as well as the MG, SP, and E series panels.
• PGM Output: Includes one onboard Programmable Output (PGM) (50mA) to control external devices, relays, or to reset life-safety equipment like smoke detectors.
• Anti-Tamper Support: Allows you to configure a zone input as an anti-tamper switch input for enhanced physical security.
• Flexible Wiring: Communicates with the main panel using a 4-wire combus. Using standard 22-gauge cable, it can be placed up to 300 meters away from the main panel.
• Firmware/Software: Supports selectable End of Line (EOL) resistors.
