MG5050+(REM 25) K38 K/P Upgrade M/Box Kit

A hardware bundle built around the Paradox MG5050+ (or MG5050) hybrid alarm panel. It provides the essential core components needed to upgrade an older or outdated security system into a modern, robust, wireless, and hardwired alarm setup.

The PA9292 kit typically includes four main components:

The Paradox MG5050+ Panel

This is the central brain of the alarm system. It is a 32-zone hybrid panel, meaning it can support up to 32 total zones using any mix of wired and wireless devices. It features 8 standard on-board wired zones (expandable using zone doubling or expansion modules like the ZX8SP) and a built-in wireless transceiver (often 433 MHz). It also supports 2 partitions and 32 user codes.

The K38 Keypad

Included as the user interface, the K38 is a wireless, horizontal icon-style keypad. It provides backlit keys and visual indicator icons so users can easily arm/disarm the system, check zone status, and monitor system troubles without needing long wire runs to a physical keypad location.

The REM25 (or REM2) Remote Control

This is a two-way, water-resistant handheld remote. It allows you to arm and disarm your system from a distance and features action confirmation with visual LED or audible feedback so you always know if the command was successful

The Metal Box (M/Box)

This is a sturdy metal enclosure that houses the MG5050+ circuit board, alongside a backup battery and transformer (which are usually sold separately), protecting the panel from damage and tampering
